For wine lovers, a visit to Dordogne is a must. The region, known for its rolling vineyards and centuries-old winemaking traditions, offers a variety of vineyard experiences that immerse visitors in the heart of local viticulture.

Dordogne Vineyard Tours provides winery tours and wine tastings allowing you to discover exquisite wines, from deep reds to crisp whites, often paired with regional delicacies like foie gras and truffle-infused bites. Visitors can explore family-run estates, learn about biodynamic winemaking, and even participate in grape harvesting during the season.

In a new collaboration with Le Chevrefeuille and CookDordogne, Dordogne Vineyard tours propose 2 options:

Wine Tasting Sur Place

Vince will come to Le Chevrefeuille with a selection of 8 wines from across the different appellations of Bergerac that represent the many styles of the area.

Guests start with a welcome glass of fizz during which they receive an overview of Bergerac wine country – its history, its appellations etc.    During the tasting itself, guests receive a basic introduction to tasting wine before going into more detail about each wine as the tasting progresses.   Topics include wine aging, organic & natural wines, grape-growing, climate change…  The tasting is informative, relaxed and pitched at a level that ensures everyone learns something new.
He also brings along platters of local cheeses and charcuterie, water, tasting notes and a whole host of knowledge.  The tasting lasts approx. 2 hours and is in English.
