We’re a family of four who were travelling across France in July. Staying at Le Chevrefeuille was brilliant. Outside of staying with friends, it was the best accommodation we had all trip. Sara, Ian and the kids are all very welcoming and friendly – we felt more like people visiting old friends than first time guests. Their local knowledge was very helpful. And the food, the food. Ian is an unbelievably good chef. The only problem was that I could never fit in all the deliciousness. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. The pool was a great, as was the outside area to run around in. We look back very fondly at our time in Le Chevrefeuille and the Dordogne, and look forward to the time we can make it back. Would very much recommend it for anyone with a family (and the self contained accommodation looked great for couples).
About the Author: Le Chevrefeuille
When we arrived at our new home, we had a dream to create a place in which we would wish to stay; a warm and personal environment but with a professional approach. We fell in love with the Dordogne Valley from the minute we arrived here and as a couple we are passionate about the area and the amazing array of fresh ingredients. With these passions in mind we built our business. We love to pass on both our knowledge of the area, both the touristic and the "off the beaten track" . We are immensely proud of our accommodation, cookery courses and tours and giving our guests the best memories are our priority.
